I am a library media specialist for a shared library serving Peoples Academy Middle Level and Peoples Academy High School. Our two schools total about 600 students. Almost 50% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. We are in the process of moving to a learning commons type space. Students engage in all sorts of activities while in the library: reading, school work, STEAM activities, arts and crafts, classroom instruction, after-school clubs and tutoring, and more.
