My AP and IB students write essays and other assignments in class frequently. To say that we go through a lot of paper a year is an understatement. My 21st century technologically advanced students are environmentally conscious and enjoy using new technology. Boogie Boards would allow the students to submit their work digitally and eliminating the need for actual paper in the class. Also the students will be more engaged with the lessons using this new technology. Remember when you got a new pencil from the school store? Well this is like that but even more exciting for students when they get to use the Boogie Board in class. When writing on the Boogie Board it feels just like paper and pen. This Boogie Boards would be used for my current class and for many classes in the future, which will definitely help reduce the amount of paper used and help the environment.
