I truly want to create a classroom space that encourages and invites collaboration and communication (two skills that are equally important in science and mathematics). We already have some wonderful and sturdy lab tables, however the chairs in my room are not the best seating option for all of my students. My students grow quite a bit during their 5th grade year, so having seating that is durable and adaptable will be very helpful as their bodies and minds are growing.
