The tablets chosen for my classroom will allow my students to increase their reading fluency and comprehension. Currently, several of my students perform below grade level. I plan to download applications that allow them to practice their reading fluency and build comprehension skills. I believe reading is a critical area to be successful in. Several of my students don't have any technology to manipulate at home; these tablets will give them the opportunity to become tech-savvy while improving reading skills. These tablets will allow reading to be convenient since they can be carried practically anywhere. My students will be able to read different books instantly and that's something to be excited about. :)
