We are a rural school with a population of 550 students in grades 6-8. We are a school that is working with Purdue University towards being a STEM recognized school. Our student population is made up of 60% free and reduced lunch program students. Many of our students come from low income families out of a few small towns and a predominant rural community. Our school has been active in writing grants and becoming a 1:1 school. Each one of our students are provided with a laptop computer. Our students are engaged in a STEM curriculum provided by our teacher in a digital and technological way.

About my class
