The materials I have included are tested and approved by my kindergarten students themselves. They have used minimal options for flexible seating; which I purchased to be sure this project was 100% valuable. I was amazed by how well the students responded to the few options I was able to provide. They ask me if they can do flexible seating each day and are eager for more flexible learning opportunities. I am so hopeful to be able to provide my students with the options they deserve to fully implement flexible seating. The lap desks will allow students to work on the floor; which is highly requested. The additional seating options provide choice and options for comfort which promotes progress and growth in the classroom. Observing the difference in their attention to their work and focus on their academics when giving seating options has changed the classroom community in a very positive way. The students are excited to have choices that meet their needs.
