Good volleyball practices have the girls constantly moving and participating in drills. The volleyball carts are replacing older carts that have been worn out to the point that the carts no longer roll and the fabric is torn. Through team fundraising we already have acquired new Volleylite balls for the elementary teams. The carts will allow the coaches to be more efficient when running drills and will keep the volleyballs in good condition when placed in storage after practice is concluded. Every year Battle Lake has added a new volleyball team! Currently grades 3 - 6th participate in elementary volleyball and attend 2-3 tournaments a year. The travel ball carrier bags will be used as each team attends a tournament and will contain the teams volleyballs for warm-ups. Our goals are to provide the correct equipment so the kids can continue to learn the skills of volleyball, and more importantly, continue offer an opportunity for elementary girls to stay active in a positive environment.
