The room that was once the dance room is in very rough shape. Not only does it need to be cleaned up and repaired, but it also needs to be transformed into a dance studio. The mirrors and ballet bars will help students be able to be more self-involved in their dance growth and learning so that they may see their bodies and forms in the mirror in reference to the teacher and others. Students will be able to really learn and practice technique, spatial awareness, formations, levels, and other key dance skills. Without these mirrors, we are running a fairly haphazard dance program due to limited visibility of the teacher to the students and vice versa. The mirrors will make all the difference in dance and will be able to be sustained for cheer and other programming for many years to come.
