Supplies are needed for students to be able to perform several different labs including building towers out of note cards that have to sustain the weight of a brick, building roller coasters out of popsicle sticks, creating electric currents with their bodies using energy sticks and using magnets to display force and magnetism! These are just a few of the many labs that my students do in class that require lots of money to provide these materials. Most of my student are economically disadvantaged and do not have to resources to provide their own supplies and I don't want that to be a reason a student cannot participate!
