If I could sum up my class in one word it would be curious! They actively question the world around them and love to work in groups with hands on materials. I teach first grade in a Title 1 school and this year I have several students who are homeless and also some who have lost a parent. These circumstances do not change the fact that they greet me each morning with a smile, eager to learn.
