Please give my students an opportunity to take their learning from the virtual to the physical. 3D printers will help students take their ideas to make learning a reality. My school has recently become a STEM school and would like to expand its offerings with few available resources. Your donations to 3D printers will greatly help the school to accomplish the goals of the STEM lab. Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics will be all be used to design and create a design in the 3D printer and CAD software. While using a 3D printer, the students can quickly print objects that can range from tools or medical prosthetic devices to helping handicapped people. Finally, critical thinking skills can be applied in the redesign or reiteration process to improve flaws which will provide a deeper understanding for all students. Students will also be given an opportunity to gain Makerbot certification which can lead to future career pathways and improve their lifetime success.
