With the emergence of online apps..science instruction can be even more relevant and engaging. I would like to purchase 15 Kindle Fires so that my science students can use apps in the classroom on a daily basis. These apps would also students the ability to receive differentiated instructional experiences. A few apps that would be utilized on the Kindle Fires would be FlipGrid to create video responses and Brainpop which delivers short instructional videos along with quick quizzes to assess understanding. We would also use Kahoot as a means to have a more engaging interactive review of content, explore online webquests when studying cells and DNA, and Sphero for Education to explore coding.
