My sixth graders enjoy challenges! They need to be equipped with current 21st century skill in order to compete in the global marketplace. This year, my students need access to technologies that they can employ by use of The Design Thinking Process. This will enable them to construct a foundation of STEM knowledge as a basis for future learning. Technology in their hands will transform their lives! Technology helps students grasp and internalize concepts better and faster - increasing the motivation to learn. Technology encourages full engagement and improves lesson depth and complexity. The learning process often breaks down between Step 2: Organization and Step 3: Analysis/Internalization. This is true of my class this year! Technology will help them bridge the breakdown in the process and become 21st Century Learners - Our engineers of tomorrow.
