I teach prekindergarten at a title 1 school in the South Bronx. My students are enthusiastic learners. They come from many different cultures and have such personality. I am proud knowing that they do their best, regardless of whatever their extenuating circumstances may be. Many of my students come from single family households, where some parents are barely making ends meet at the poverty line.
