JK Rowling, Mo Willems, Gordon Korman, Raina Telgmeier and Dan Santat are just a few of the authors my fifth graders will be getting to know this year as we become lifelong readers. Many of my students came into my classroom hating reading, but that has changed as they are introduced to real literature and felt the joy of being a reader. I want to continue to inspire my students to love reading by improving myself as a teacher and learning from the best of the best. You can be a part of that.
