My students can't wait to learn about the world, but they have not yet discovered that books can take them to infinite places. Many of my students have little material or a place at home to read, so their classroom might be the only space where they can get lost in a book. The items for this project will allow my students to find joy and adventure in the books they read. Help make our library a cozy and safe space for my students to read and enjoy books. As learners the more they love to read the more they will grow as readers. Rugs and comfy seats help students grow their reading stamina, while a listening station provides a valuable tool for my English language learners to engage in stories as they build their English skills. A movable easel will allow me to bring teaching to the library, seamlessly integrating their learning with their engagement in books. Help my students go on a magic carpet ride every time they read a book!
