I decided to try something different one day. My kids seemed to be restless in their seats after lunch so I told them that they could pick a spot in the room that they were comfortable to work on their reading assignment. Suddenly my room became quiet and the engagement happened! I was so excited to walk around and see my kids laying on the floors and working with partners quietly huddled together. That's when I knew, I needed Flexible Seating! I began small with a couple of bean bag chairs and now I would like to bring even more to our space. Students will be able to sit with a partner in our library to discuss books they are reading. Or work together on some math problems while still having their own individual space. Some students will even be sprawled across the floor on their bellies as they dive into writing. Flexible seating and your donations will help make this possible!
