More than half of the students at Spring Branch Elementary are low income and receive free or reduced lunches. Because of this high poverty rate, there are many opportunities my students do not have easily accessible. Music lessons and chances to see live performances are a rarity for students living in this demographic. Music can inspire these students and help them find an outlet to express their emotions and utilize their creative minds. It is my hope to provide more musical opportunities for these students. Giving students more chances to experience music in tangible ways can help to further their higher level thinking skills. Thank you for supporting my students in their endeavors!
