My students need hands-on playful activities that enhance their early literacy and math skills. These retelling puppets and STEM Kits will be used throughout the entire school year! They will be able to use these manipulative during whole group, small group, and purposeful play. Students will be able to explore together at school to become lifelong readers and learners. Your generous donation to our project will improve our PreK classroom by building stronger readers, writers, and mathematicians. My desire is to create an engaging learning environment based on play. We will use story retelling kits to enhance reading comprehension, oral language development, and retelling abilities in a fun and playful manner! The students will use these tools to play and explore at their own pace and in their own style. The STEAM kits will act as exploration tools for students. They will be able to pick their own tools and work to build, develop, and explore mathematical concepts independently. This will change our students' lives for the better because they will love school and feel successful at an early age. They will also have fun while learning!
