I currently run the student store at my school site which is known as the "Quake Store". We use this student store as an incentive for students for good behavior and academic success. The student store works in conjunction with the Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) system that we are implementing at our school. One part of the PBIS system is rewarding students for good behavior and academic success with PBIS points. Students save up these points and are then allowed to spend their points on items that we have in stock in our student store. High-value items like the ones in my cart are great motivators for students to attend school every day and put forth maximum effort in their learning. We see student engagement, participation and attendance rise every time we restock the store with new items.
