The materials will make a difference in my students' learning by providing them a place in the classroom to share, create, experience science, use manipulatives, and listen to great literature. When I asked my 2nd grade students what they missed the most during the 2020-2021 year, they unanimously replied that they missed our morning meetings together on our rug. Unfortunately, our rugs were removed last year and placed in a storage facility where many of the rugs deteriorated. So, this year I am requesting a new rug where my students can have "circles of fun" with brand new rug!
