Resources for this project will allow my students to orally express their joy of learning through using their melodic voices. Students will have a sense of pride as they recognize that their singing talents are noted by the school and community. The burden of not having proper attire to participate in school district events will be lifted as students have clothing to wear yearly for their singing performances. The self-esteem of my at-risk student will heighten as they are overjoyed to share their singing experiences with the community. Students will no longer feel awkward as they perform due to having inferior clothing in comparison to other school performers. Additionally, more students will become interested in taking chorus classes and honing their musical skills due to the pride of the 'Melodic Tiger" choir. Lastly, students will transfer their classroom learning into having real-world experiences in other settings.
