My students enjoy being creative and expressing themselves through art. But there was no art program where they could've done so last year. I find that my students use drawings to tell stories or to complete thoughts. We will be able to use these materials to add art to class for group work and projects. These materials will allow my students to work in class to add to their work. With these supplies, we'll add some spice to the class. These materials will also help me to incorporate so much more into my lessons to grab the attention of all learners. In addition to art supplies, I've also asked for a laminating machine, a paint drying rack, erasers for a dry erase board, and a rack for my white boards. These items will help the students and myself keep a neat and organized room. I will be able to use other art materials such as paint and sand, and I will have a place to store them. I will also be able to have a place for everything, making transitioning from activity to activity move swiftly.
