This year I am following my Kindergartners up to first grade. I am beyond excited to get another year with these kiddos and feel so lucky. My heart is filled with joy every time they walk into the room and I am just amazed by their strength and their kindness. Every morning we start the day by saying "I am safe, I am strong, I work hard, I am smart, I am loved, I am kind." And these things are really true for my kids. I could write here about the trauma, poverty or struggles that they come from but what comes to my mind first is that they are resilient, hard working, and have so much love and kindness. When you are donating to this project you are helping me give these bright lights what they deserve and what they need!

About my class
