My students need multiple learning strategies to comprehend each subject we learn about including life skills and academics. I work in a community that is limited on resources due to our low income socioeconomic status. I teach a group of kids that are seen with a label and misjudged as individuals with the misconception that they will never be able to comprehend and learn academics or life skills. My students are in special education and have limited positive role models in their lives to look up to. With getting donations and materials I can help to shape their young minds into a growing future and show them the world they way they need to see it.
