When your first walk into our classroom, you will notice music and bright colors. I try to constantly have music playing in the background of the classroom. We use it to excite us as well as when the students are working independently, we use instrumental music to calm us down. Our classroom is full of bright colors, student work, and anchor charts that the students have helped to create. I am a big advocate for independent learners, even in Kindergarten! These students are capable of so much, as long as we give them the tools and resources...they will surprise you! My students are a family. They work hard together, they try their best, and they uplift one another. They are always cheering for each other when they see one another doing something wonderful, and they are always helping each other succeed. They are each others biggest fans! My students love school, and come into school every day with a bright big smile!
