Students will be excited to create stop motion videos like they see on YouTube. This excitement will fuel their interest in project that require telling a story with both words and pictures. For one project students will be asked to work in groups of four or five to tell a story using cut out drawings of characters and objects that will animate over backgrounds they have drawn. In another project they may be asked to tell a story by animating Legos, or pipecleaners. The great thing about this purchase is that it can be used many times in many ways.
