My goal is to put the skills of CPR in the hands of 160+ middle schoolers. Imagine having students at homes and in the communities who are able to provide life saving assistance by keeping blood flowing through the body until help arrives. The CPR Training Kits will allow students to do just that. Each kit contains 5 adult and 5 infant mannequins. To be able to have ten groups practicing in this life saving skill is only a dream, right now. The CPR kits will reinforce information about the body systems and connectedness between the systems, with a safe hand-on activity like CPR training. Most middle school students, like adults, would be hesitant to come in contact with items others have used. Replacement Life/form® Basic Buddy® Lung/Mouth Protection kits are essential for calming their fears and to reach a large number of students during health and PE. By putting your support behind this project, we can provide students with a skills that can potentially save a life. Kids retain information more readily when they are actively engaged in fun and relevant lessons. I hope you can help pave the way for this endeavor.
