I have 21 hard-working third graders in my classroom. We are located just outside of Detroit, Michigan. Our school is a Title I school with over 75% of students qualifying for free and reduced lunch. Many are living in poverty. School is a place for them to have structure, positive social interactions, receive praise and gain a sense of belonging to a positive community. My students are motivated to learn and and strive to achieve at high levels.

About my class
