Having trampolines in my gym would allow students to explore new ways of exercising to keep their body physically fit! Among other benefits, trampolines allow students to work on balance, cardiovascular endurance, and muscular strength. One example is how endurance is needed to jump rope. Students often times get frustrated when jumping rope because they are to tired to keep practicing. As students improve these areas of physical fitness they will feel better, be more alert during class, perform better academically, improve social skills and improve on Fitness Testing. Did I mention fun? We are always looking for a fun way to exercise our students so they enjoy it and want to continue throughout their life. Building a love of exercise and helping students learn how important it is to keep their body healthy is what it takes to maintain exercising habits for life. The trampoline would provide a more fun way to improve cardiovascular endurance needed for jumping rope and running activities.
