My scholars are very diverse in their abilities and backgrounds. Many of my students come from low-income and mixed families. My students work hard to enjoy their learning. As a class, we focus on having a growth mindset and never giving up. In my classes, I have many English language learners, high achieving students, and students with varying abilities. No matter their abilities, I want to remind my students everyday to keep trying. We all will fail in our lives, but it's what we do after that that counts.
