My students come from many different backgrounds and financial status, we have a diverse population of middle and low income families, some from strong family partnerships. My students are curious learners that need support, nurture and educational resources to become ready for kindergarten. We also welcome refugee children into our program that are part of our community. Our classroom is a dual program where we teach Spanish and English. We welcome children from diverse families we speak many languages and are one community engaging all our children in one goal to become our future leaders of our city, and country. We engage our students through visuals, hands-on projects where they can develop more vocabulary as well as making connections with their everyday life. We include all children in making and tinkering we provide our students a whole world of learning and expression through art, literacy, etc.
