I would like to build a strong classroom community through a library that encourages reading in a comfortable environment. Flex-Space seating would be enticing for the kids and would be used as a reward system. A “Reading Corner” would be beneficial in my classroom to use as free space, earned through positive behavior. New books on a variety of subjects and genres would give the students exciting choices and make their reading more interesting. Statistics show that if a child is interested in a book, they are more likely to read it. With all these choices, there is something for everyone!
