The two major standards that the iPad Pro will facilitate the teaching and learning in my class are: ELA 11/ W 11.12.1, RL 11-12.4. It has been difficult to move from behind my desk with the mandated inclusion of utilizing Canvas in the classroom. The iPad Pro would allow me to move through the classroom while still instructing. We have been provided with Nearpod/ FlipGrid/ Google Slides as well as other platforms but my mobility has been taken away. Students would gain significantly from the iPad because we would be able to use the creative slideshows mentioned above to delve deeper into figurative language, connotations, and supporting their arguments.
