I have two groups of Kindergartners learning Spanish and English in a Dual Language program. My students are very motivated and interested in learning Spanish and show me their abilities and excitement for learning on a daily basis. While in my Spanish class Kindergarteners learn to speak, write and read in Spanish. My students are full of energy and excited to engage in critical thinking and collaborative work. Our school is developing a dual language program and is very involved in attaining high academic goals in both Spanish and English. Despite Spanish not being the home language for the majority of the students they always come to class eager and exited to learn.
