My students will be able to focus on the discussion or story when they are able to feel comfortable in their own personal space. Students often get distracted on the carpet because they feel like they are sitting on top of each other. This carpet will allow students to see where their personal space is and where their peers personal space is. All students will be able to sit comfortable and happily. This rug would be my student's perfect story telling rug in our classroom community. My students have asked me to get a new rug, and I want them to get excited and know how much they are loved and cared for in the classroom!
