The use of technology is a standard in a 21st-century classroom. However, a lot of my students do not have access to quality technology. This MacBook will help me expose my scholars to the benefits of all types of technology in our world. Starting in the fall, I will continue teaching hybrid, but in a new grade. Understanding the challenges of learning online, having access to a MacBook can help me better streamline their content. Every single child deserves access to quality, engaging, and rigorous learning no matter their socioeconomic background. I want to ensure an equitable experience for all of my scholars both in-person and at home. This MacBook will be used to teach both science and math lessons contributing to the encouragement of STEM programs within our low-income urban communities. Scholars will have the opportunity to use this Macbook to present their project-based learning activities, virtual field trips and so much more! It is my goal to expose my scholars to what the world has to offer and why not start with quality technology!
