The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting them through our door! The students will use the materials donated to set up at the dances and parties to build school climate and culture on our campus through the PBIS Rewards. We are scheduling a Mad Hatter dance party during the spring and we will be using the materials donated. The black lights will be used to enhance the appeal of our dance. We will have different stations (face painting, shirt decorating, art decorating, etc.) at the dance that will react to the black lights. I am hoping to get enough black lights so that all of our themed decorations and students will all glow. We have been implementing the PBIS cohort for the last year and we have seen major success in our students behavior and in their academics. We earned the Silver Award for the state of California PBIS Cohort. We are one of only three middle schools in our district to receive this award. We would like to reward our students for great success!
