I am requesting 30 double-sided whiteboards because the students that take my Biology and Chemistry classes will be able to use it to support the understanding of the content. They can use it for our checkpoint questions, as a quick way to gauge student understanding. In Chemistry we have to solve complicated multi-stepped calculations that whiteboards would be amazing for. In Biology, we often go over complex concepts that need visual aids to better explain them, or even have students communicate their understanding. Having whiteboards and markers to draw or show their work will aid my students in reviewing material, better enable me to more teach effectively, and increase overall student engagement.
