As a first year teacher, it is difficult to create a classroom library that my students deserve. With such a diverse classroom demographic, I want to provide my students with books that apply to their lives, pique their interest, and allow them to gain a greater understanding of other cultures and people. Books create an opportunity for children to learn empathy, gain a better understanding of historical events, and spark great conversations among other things! These books would allow me to continue building my classroom library, give a variety of book genres, and help create cross-subject lessons. I would love for you to partner with me in supplying my students with more books!

About my class
