When my students walk in the classroom every morning, they see rows or groups of brown desks with regular chairs. What I have chosen for my project is flexible seating. I would love to give my children the opportunity of flexible seating on a daily basis. By having flexible seating I believe that my test scores and daily work production will increase. Sitting in a hard chair all day long while trying to concentrate is not as easy as it seems. These flexible seating cushions would help my students be able to move around the classroom and sit comfortably on the floor while doing worksheets. Being more creative with seating is highly important. By giving the students the choice to be able to move about the classroom for seating, I believe this will help them focus more and not feel so enclosed with a boring brown desk and hard chair.
