Roosevelt students are passionate about drum line. Every year 5th grade students line up to be in band in hoping to be picked for percussion. Students must pass 5th and 6th grade percussion to enter into Roosevelt's prestigious drum line. The drum line performs throughout the year all over Peoria Illinois. Roosevelt Magnet students are underprivileged youth looking for a positive outlet. When they step into the band room they can forget their outside troubles and just be kids.

About my class
