The use of the requested items on a daily basis in the classroom will give my students a voice and opportunities. It will relieve the anxiety and frustration some of my students feel when they can't communicate their answers, choices, wants, needs, emotions or thoughts. About 80% of my students require 1 on 1 instruction or can only work in groups of 2 or less, this can be difficult with the limited amount of adult hands in the classroom. The technology will help create activities that the students could participate in and gain a sense of independence. Meanwhile, making it possible for me to create small enough groups to conduct effective instruction. By taking the time to read our story and donating to our classroom you are giving our students a voice and a jump start to a fun and successful educational journey. Implementing this technology on a daily basis will increase our student engagement and their academic progress. As well as, decrease the sense of defeat and frustration our students feel day to day when I am not able to provide them with the best and most enriching education possible.
