Think back to when you were in school, and you were struggling. You sit there not paying attention, and you sit there hoping the teacher wouldn't call on you and terrified that someone would laugh at you. These quiz cards and pens will help my struggling students work independently to practice concepts without anyone else knowing what they are working on and where they are struggling. The real cash register is the best way to learn about money. My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are having fun. The supplies on my wish list will help make learning fun and not a chore. Fun items and journals help kids feel excited to be in school, which is my goal.
