Our school library is a hive for learning, making, creating, reading, collaborating, and growing, not only during the school day, where all 560 students have weekly access, but also after school. We offer Makerspace, Battle of the Books Club, Family Literacy Events, and other opportunities that go beyond "library time." Our learners experience reading, coding, creating, developing community, school ambassador opportunities as they facilitate community events and welcome guests, social emotional learning, and community outreach through our diverse library offerings. We include our future community members ages 0-4 years old through Toddler Story Time. Student input always informs what the library needs to offer to meet their needs & extend their learning. The projects we humbly request funding for all have the purpose of achieving equity and bridging divides in literacy, technology, and diversity.
