My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy. I read to them on the carpet and they read independently! The tablets will help them experience other ways of learning and put their fine motor skills to work. Also the chairs will help them sit comfortably while they enjoy or share a good book or song with friends, teachers, or parent visitors. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them during our independent work times. Not having to be limited to the same routine or seating can help give them more options/choices. The rocking chairs will be a big help to teachers, parents and most definitely our foster grandparents so that they are not prone to the floor or little chairs.
