I teach a group of incredible high school freshmen. They are bursting with potential and full of creative ideas. As with most adolescents, they are making meaning of the world around them, and they are searching for resources and strategies to help express their own unique stories. My students are determined and resilient. They are willing to do whatever it takes to reach their goals, despite the very real obstacles many of them face. We have challenges, but they seem to bring out the best in our kids.

About my class
