It is a pleasure and honor to work with such exceptional students and be part of their education experience. Our diverse backgrounds come together in a tight-knit collaborative community that is focused on academic success and having fun during the process! We work hard every day to build our community and care about each other. We have clear academic objectives and reach for the stars every day. Unfortunately, my students are often described by their demographics which include at-risk and low-income. Despite these labels and against the odds, my students are engaged, eager to learn, and have dreams for the future. School is the place where they can be kids, feel safe, and have fun! Every morning they show up ready and eager to learn. I am constantly amazed by their resilience, humor, kindness, and potential!
