I teach Special Education students in grades 6–8 who need extra support in reading, writing, math, and social-emotional skills. Many of my students come into class believing they are not capable of success. My goal is to help them change that. In our classroom, students build confidence, take risks, and experience success—often for the first time. With the right tools and support, I’ve seen students go from avoiding participation to asking questions and believing in themselves. A unique part of our classroom is Bubbles, my Siberian Husky service dog. She helps create a calm, safe environment where students feel comfortable enough to try. Because of supporters like you, students gain access to meaningful learning experiences. Thank you for helping them succeed.
