My students love spreading out throughout the classroom and sitting in what used to be thought as unconventional ways. But just as education has evolved, so has seating! Desks are a thing of the past and my students prefer to spread out on the floor on cushions or choose to work with a partner on my bean bag chair! By allowing students to choose how they sit, they are taking ownership in their learning and can continue to be creative and do great things! With your donations, I will be able to give my students access to even more seating options. Students will be able to spread out on the rug and use clipboards to keep their work organized or choose to work at the back table on wobble cushions - allowing them to move freely and get their wiggles out!
